Moose Lodge
This project is located in the high alpine environment in the snowy mountains between Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.  This unique setting required a design that responded to, and complimented the beautiful snow gum trees and alpine meadows of the area.  This lodge is defined by rambling, additive architectural forms, composed within the large stands of snow gum trees, mirroring the aesthetic of the surviving stock of cattlemen’s huts peppered about the mountains.  Inside, the lodge provides closely linked gathering spaces, a spacious master, and kid’s bunk rooms for a family’s holiday and weekend use.
